ABOUT ME
I am a Climate Research Economist at De Nederlandsche Bank since April 2024, and a Research Associate at the University of Oxford.
I received my PhD in Economics from Queen Mary University of London and have a background in Statistics. My research focuses on time series, climate econometrics, applied macroeconomics, and environmental economics.

In my research projects, I explore the impact of climate change on economies, the relationship between environmental factors and macroeconomic outcomes, and how fiscal policy can foster resilience and promote sustainable development. I have investigated the effects of climate change on energy and commodity prices, and the optimal approach to environmental policy and green innovation for achieving a net-zero economy.

In my policy work, my team and I provide impactful policy advice to the Dutch government on issues related to climate policy and the competitiveness of the Dutch economy. We focus on strategies that balance environmental sustainability with economic growth.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of presenting my research at prominent conferences and seminars, such as the NBER Summer Institute and events hosted by institutions such as the European Central Bank and the United Nations.
